SUMMIT OFFERS FREE LUNCHEON ON GREENWAY SAFETY
April 26, 2010 As the weather warms up and everyone is eager to get outside, it is important to remember some guidelines for safely using our Nashville greenways and parks. Summit Medical Center and Renee Bates, Executive Coordinator at Greenways for Nashville, are excited to present Safely Enjoying Greenways and Trails this Spring. At this time, Bates will review the rules of the road for the trails, how our greenways are used, and what we should understand about sharing the trails for our recreation. This informative free lunch seminar will take place on Tuesday, May 18 at 11:30 a.m. in the classrooms on the ground floor of the hospital.
This education community seminar will provide attendees information about the Nashville greenways, which are a system of multi-use paved trails and primitive hiking trails. The Nashville greenways are open to walkers, runners, bicyclists, rollerblade advocates, and dogs. Safety is the highest priority when using the greenways, which is why it is important to know how to use and share the trails. A healthy lunch will follow the presentation. Reservations are required and space is limited for this free seminar, so please call TriStar MedLine at 615-342-1919.
This seminar is part of Summit Medical Centers senior program, Summit Partners in Prime.
